Cathy is from the U.S. and has lived in Singapore since 2000. Her Clinical work has been in the area of trauma and abuse, attachment injuries, depression and anxiety, personal identity, relationship and family issues. Cathy was one of the Founding members of DaySpring Residential Treatment Centre in Singapore, the first of its kind in South-east Asia. DaySpring is a residential treatment program which works with
teenage girls who have experienced trauma and abuse. She served as the Clinical Director for 4.5 years before going into private practice.
Cathy’s Clinical modalities include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (Levels 1 & 2), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Choice Theory/Reality Therapy (CTRT). Cathy integrates these modalities to suit the needs of clients.
Cathy enjoys working with the local, expatriate and corporate communities. She is a registered counsellor with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) and a Registered Clinical Supervisor.
